Doubly Eclectic

Jon Hopkins, a composer, pianist and self-taught studio whiz is set on the comeback with his first album in four years.

Following production engagements for King Creosote and Coldplay, Jon’s latest album — Insides — bunches his classical discipline with the bleeps, this time taking a more organic approach with the meeting of human imperfection and digital precision. The album stops short of being overly cerebral, as Jon’s dance tendencies continue to wield raves and rhythms to make for something quite brilliant.

Insides will have be released in the US and UK on the 11th of May.
